PROJECT CCRES ALGAE BIOFUEL

”Given the right conditions, algae can double its volume overnight. Microalgae are the earth’s most productive plants –– 10 to 15 times more prolific in biomass than the fastest growing land plant exploited for biofuel production. While soy produces some 50 gallons of oil per acre per year; canola, 150 gallons; and palm, 650 gallons, algae can produce up to 15,000 gallons per acre per year. In addition, up to 50 percent (or more) of algae biomass (dry weight) is comprised of oil, whereas oil-palm trees—currently the most efficient large-scale source of feedstock oil to make biofuels—yield approximately 20 percent of their weight in oil,” says Zeljko Serdar, President of CCRES

*U sklopu projekta Hrvatskog centra obnovljivih izvora energije, koji ima i službenu podršku U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL-a, EE COALITION-a, GREEN EUROPEAN FOUNDATION-a, ANNA LINDH FOUNDATION-a, NACIONALNE ZAKLADE ZA RAZVOJ CIVILNOG DRUŠTVA , organizirati će se seminari i radionice koji će sudionicima ponuditi proširenje stečenog znanja iz područja zelene gradnje i implementiranje proizvoda koji smanjuju energetsku ovisnost o skupim energentimai njihovim velikim sustavima

*Tijekom seminara biti će organizirana predavanja koja će izlagati vodeća imena iz industrije obnovljivih izvora energije, brojni znanstvenici i vodeći ljudi institucija iz Hrvatske i inozemstva kojima je svima "ZELENA ENERGIJA" zajednički predznak

*Implementacija novih informacija biti će prikazana u praksi ,koja će se realizirati kroz praktične instrukcije, te E-LEARNING module, za što postoji veliki interes kod građevinskih tvrtki kao i kod krajnjih potrošača/korisnika

*U konačnici, osim znanstveno- tehničkih prednosi , udruženje pridonosi značajnom napretku u primjeni obnovnjivih izvora energije , promjeni uvriježenog načina razmišljanja koje koči širu primjenu alternativnih izvora energije pri izgradnji i rekonstrukciji objekata

Thank you for volunteering for the CROATIAN CENTER OF RENEWABLE ENERGY ( CCRES ) !Volunteers have been the key to the success of the CCRES for the past 20 years and we hope YOU will help make the 2011 CCRES even better!! We are looking for volunteers to help with the our program. (150 volunteers needed).

All ages (adults and students) and skill levels are encouraged to volunteer - students, and student groups are welcome to volunteer for CCRES service and program .

Don't worry - we will send you a reminder once you sign up using the link below.

In addition, each volunteer will attend a refresher course, specific to your assignment, the morning of the event. No worries - you will be well prepared!

In addition to fun and excitement, we will also provide breakfast, a yummy lunch, dinner (if you stick around), and a fabulous CCRES t-shirt! Why wouldn't you sign up???

HCOIE PROJEKT

Glavni cilj projekta je poticanje šire upotrebe mjera energetske učinkovitosti u kućanstvima. Neki od načina kojim se to može učiniti su:

Stvoriti temelje za buduću nacionalnu mrežu energetskih info centara koja pokriva što veće područje

Široka nacionalna pokrivenost savjetodavnim službama znači da svi građani mogu biti informirani i savjetovani. Također to znači da se u budućnosti može očekivati velik broj korisnika info centara. Potencijali OIE i EE u Hrvatskoj procijenjeni su kao vrlo dobri i raznoliki, iako njihovo korištenje priječe ekonomske prepreke, nepovoljan zakonski okvir, a prvenstveno niska razina svijesti o prednostima i mogućnostima EE i OIE. Na primjer EE u sektoru zgradarstva je vrlo niska i prema tome ima puno potencijala za uštede i poboljšanja. Mali OIE (solarni termalni sustavi, toplinske pumpe, fotonaponske ćelije,...) u kućanstvima također imaju veliki potencijal.

Informirati kućanstva o svim aspektima korištenja energije u kućanstvima kroz službu energetskog savjetovanja

Ovaj cilj će pomoći u ubrzanju protoka informacija koji je potreban za primjenu mjera i rješenja za održivo korištenje energije (na primjer, informacije o državnim poticajima za obnovljive izvore energije (OIE) sa svim neophodnim uputama, uklapanje mjera energetske učinkovitosti pri projektiranju objekata, kako smanjiti postojeće troškove grijanja, zamjena starih bojlera, itd).

Poticati na racionalno korištenje energije i upotrebu svih dostupnih i prihvatljivih OIE u kućanstvima umjesto fosilnih goriva

Nakon danih savjeta građanima-korisnicima, oni mogu ili ne moraju primijeniti ga, ali uz više informacija postoji veća objektivnost i mogućnost za primjenu čišće i jeftinije energije. Ako korisnici dobiju informaciju o povezanosti proizvodnje i potrošnje energije i o direktnoj koristi racionalnog korištenja energije, logično je da će se početi ponašati na manje rasipan način.
